Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our cost and contracts team in Mumbai. You will support the preparation of Bills of Quantities, tender analysis, interim valuations and final accounts on commercial and industrial projects.

What You'll Do

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates from drawings and specifications
• Support tender process, issue tender documents, evaluate submissions, prepare comparison statements
• Assess and certify interim payment applications from contractors
• Manage variation orders, assess entitlement, value and agree with contractors
• Prepare monthly cost reports showing committed cost, expenditure and forecast at completion
• Assist in final account negotiation and close-out
• Maintain contract records, correspondence files and change registers

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Economics
• 4-7 years of QS experience in construction PMC or contracting
• Strong working knowledge of standard conditions of contract
• Proficiency in Excel for cost modelling and reporting
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Nice to Have

• Experience with FIDIC or NEC contracts
• AIQS, RICS membership or pursuing qualification
• Cost management software experience (CostX, Candy, or similar)
